Muslim Man Left Namaz and Save a Cow who was Drowning in Well.

Lucknow, Uttar pradesh: A Muslim Boy jumped in a well to save life of a Cow who was drowning. Keeping the Lakhnavi tradition of mutual tolerance alive, a Muslim boy in old city saved a cow who fell into the well here on Saturday afternoon.

It is being seen as an ‘answer to communal powers who supposedly get active around elections’ especially in the backdrop of the recently held Dadri lynching case.

District magistrate lauded the man and mentioned “hats off to the man… long live communal amity in Lucknow” on his social networking profile. The incident took place in Aishbagh police circle of Lucknow. According to reports, the cow was thirsty and probably fell in a well which was about 60 feet deep. A man, named Mohd Zaqi jumped into the well to save the cow. The information later reached the nearby Bazar Khala police station. Incharge CP Singh said that by the time police reached, the man had managed to drag the cow out of the well. The police also appreciated the man.
